The rules and agreements for using ClaimReady
Welcome to ClaimReady. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and any content we provide. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.
ClaimReady is a private document preparation service. We help you organize, prepare, and package the materials needed to file an unemployment claim with your state.
ClaimReady is NOT:
You are responsible for filing your own claim with your state's unemployment office. Free official help is always available through your state's Department of Labor.
To use ClaimReady, you must be at least 18 years old, a resident of the United States, and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
You may not share your account, sell access, or impersonate another person.
ClaimReady offers the following paid services:
All fees are payable through our secure payment processor (Stripe). Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

The State Update Alerts subscription auto-renews monthly until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in your Account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds for unused days.
You agree to provide accurate information when using our services. If you provide false or incomplete information, we may suspend your account and we are not responsible for any errors in your filing package.

We do our best to provide accurate, up-to-date information about each state's unemployment process. However:
All website content, branding, templates, and materials are owned by ClaimReady and protected by copyright. You may use the materials we provide for your personal filing — you may not redistribute, resell, or repurpose them.

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every state requirement. The information we provide is for general guidance only and is not legal advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClaimReady's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of our service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes by email. Your continued use of our service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which ClaimReady is registered. Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration unless prohibited by law.
